A replacement car is an additional insurance coverage

This coverage ensures that in the event of an accident, theft, or other damage, you have access to a replacement car until your vehicle is repaired or the situation is resolved.

Available for regular passenger cars

Replacement car coverage is available for standard passenger or light commercial vehicles (M1, M1G, N1, N1G) with a registered weight of up to 3,500 kg.

Outside of Estonia, a rental car is required

If the insurance event occurs abroad, you must rent a vehicle. The insurer will reimburse reasonable and properly documented rental costs up to the agreed limit.

Replacement car vs. transportation reimbursement

If you do not need a replacement car during the repair period but still have errands to run, the insurer will reimburse transportation costs (e.g., taxi) based on receipts.

A replacement car is not equivalent to your personal vehicle

The replacement car does not have to be of the same class as your insured vehicle. For example, if your personal car is a Porsche, the replacement car may still be a mid-class vehicle.

The replacement car is provided via IIZI's claim system

In case of damage, always report your claim through the IIZI system. Insurance conditions state that reimbursement applies only to replacement cars ordered through IIZI’s service provider.
